Definitions Glossary
Staking: The process of locking your SOL tokens with a validator (e.g., High3r) to support the Solana network’s security and earn rewards based on network performance.

Epoch: A cycle on the Solana network, lasting approximately 2–3 days, during which validation and reward calculations occur. Funds are released after the next epoch following unstaking.

APY (Annual Percentage Yield): The annualized rate of return on your delegated SOL, subject to variability as described.

Wallet: A software or hardware tool (e.g., Phantom, Solflare) you control to store, send, and receive SOL tokens, secured by your public key and password.

Delegation: The act of assigning your SOL to a validator (like High3r) to participate in network validation, without transferring ownership.

Crypto Exchange: A platform (e.g., Independence Reserve, Swyftx) where you can convert fiat money (e.g., AUD, USD) into Solana tokens (SOL) or other cryptocurrencies.

Validator: A node (e.g., High3r) on the Solana network responsible for processing transactions, securing the network, and distributing rewards to stakers.

Solana: A high-performance blockchain platform that supports decentralized applications (e.g., DeFi, NFTs) and enables fast, low-cost transactions.

Rewards: The incentives (e.g., additional SOL tokens) earned by staking with a validator, distributed based on network performance and participation.

1. Acceptance of Terms
‍By accessing or using high3r.xyz (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply during our Beta phase, as we refine functionality.

2. Description of Service
‍High3r provides a platform for users to delegate SOL tokens to our validation services, aiming to generate rewards while supporting the Solana network’s security. All transactions occur via your wallet—High3r does not custody funds.

3. Beta Phase
‍High3r is currently in Beta to test and improve our Solana validation services. Features may be limited, and performance is not guaranteed.We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service at any time during Beta without prior notice.Feedback is welcome at contact@high3r.xyz to help us enhance the experience.

4. Wallet Security
‍You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet’s public key (address) and a strong password if applicable. High3r cannot recover lost funds or access your accounts.You are responsible for the security of your funds when converting money to Solana tokens on crypto exchanges and transferring those tokens to your personal wallet.High3r is not responsible for the performance or security of any crypto exchanges or wallets we may recommend or mention, nor for any losses resulting from their operations or breaches.

5. Eligibility
‍You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. Use of the Service is at your own risk during Beta.

6. User Responsibilities
‍Provide accurate information when using the Service. Comply with all applicable laws, including those related to cryptocurrency such as tax declaration of your gains.

7. Rewards and Limitations
‍Rewards are provided as an APY, which is variable and may change without notice. The APY varies due to factors such as network congestion, validator uptime, inflation adjustments, and Solana network protocol updates. Rewards are distributed every epoch (~2–3 days).To withdraw your rewards or SOL tokens, you must stop staking, which initiates a cooldown. Your funds will be released at the end of the next epoch after unstaking.High3r is not responsible for losses due to network issues, market volatility, or technical failures. Beta users may experience delays or interruptions in reward distribution.

8. Intellectual Property
‍All content on high3r.xyz (e.g., logos, text) is owned by High3r or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
‍The Service is provided “as is” during the Beta phase, with no guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. High3r disclaims all express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This means we do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific needs, perform consistently under all conditions, remain free from bugs, delays, or failures—especially given the experimental nature of Beta testing and the inherent risks of the Solana network, such as network outages or protocol changes.

10. Limitation of Liability
‍High3r is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or financial loss, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.

12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms during Beta—check regularly. Changes take effect upon posting, with the last update 2 March 2024.
